and social engagement. To keep track of how different activities and events impact your mental fitness, you can add short notes in the app journal. Using your scores and your
notes, you will be able to track, understand, and learn how to manage your mental fitness.What does QuantActions do?
QuantActions uses your smartphone interactions to give you real-time insights into your brain function. The timing data of your smartphone taps is fed into our powerful
algorithms which detect patterns and provide accurate inferences about mental fitness. Your mental fitness is measured based on three key metrics:
- Cognitive Fitness: Using your smartphone tapping interactions, we measure your Cognitive Processing Speed which is a key indicator of your cognitive fitness. The focus is not
on improving your speed, but on measuring the consistency of your speed. Don’t worry: we only capture the timing of your taps and not the content.
- Sleep Quality: Although we do not record exactly when you sleep, using your smartphone taps our algorithm can accurately estimate the likelihood of when you are sleeping.
Using this data, our algorithm can accurately predict your daily sleep-wake cycle. This method has been scientifically validated against traditional sleep tracking
devices.
- Social Engagement: The extent of digital social engagement is a new indicator of your brain health. Using our algorithm, we measure the level of social usability of a range of
apps and capture the time you spend on them as well as your taps while using them. Again, we do not record which apps you use or what you do on them, merely the time you spend
using them and your tap movements on them.
In addition to your scores on these key metrics, you can make notes in your app journal so you can keep track of life events that may impact your scores in one way or another.
You’ll also be able to compare your scores over different time periods (i.e. weekly, monthly) and see your scores in the context of scores in your gender and age group. Tips on
