The Book of Enoch, interesting and obscure book to expand knowledge
The Book of Enoch is an ancient Jewish religious work, attributed by tradition to Enoch, the great-grandfather of Noah, though modern scholars believe the oldest (mainly in the
Book of the Watchers) sections to date of 300 BC, and last part (Book of Parables) probably late first century BC.
"The Scriptures will be given, they will believe and rejoice in them, all the righteous be glad to learn from all walks of justice." (1 Enoch 104: 13)
The first sections of the book were made in the third century BC. The authors relied in part on the Pentateuch and had expanded sections of Genesis, Numbers and Deuteronomy. For
example, 1 Enoch 1: 9 (the quote in the letter of Jude 1: 14-15) is originally a Midrash Deuteronomy 33: 2.

Arabic and Latin and a fragment in Coptic. They have also been found several fragments in Aramaic and one in Hebrew (4Q317) Qumran. Tradition attributed its authorship to Enoch
